No PF. There is no cure or treatment for psychopaths.
They lack empathy and that's what makes them so dangerous... there is no medications that will give them any. It's not an illness that can be treated, that's just the way they are.
In a lot of cases, psycho talk-sessions only make them better at manipulating others.

Note... not all psychopaths are dangerous for others. Even a sadist can find his masochist.

Psychopathy lies on a scale. Successful business execs and entrepreneurs show a very high level. They've just found a way to channel it into socially rewarded behaviors. So, depending on how you look at it, most psychopaths are not dangerous to others. In the conventional sense, anyway.

A youth sentence for the teens would mean a minimum jail term of 10 years without parole. That jumps to life with 25 years without parole if they are sentenced as adults

If they are sentenced as adults? IF? Why is this even a freaking question?

And it damn well better be a LIFE sentence, as in until they are dead, with no chance of parole EVER.

And as a bonus toss them in general population. Perhaps they won't end up costing us as much if that lifeline ends sooner than later.

They have to say "if" because its not sure just like they have to say accused or if found guilty. They stand a very good chance to be sentenced as adults.

Of course it's in question. You know....

Maybe they weren't in their "right mind" at the time, or

Maybe they got too many spankings as children, or

Maybe they didn't get hugs from their mommies enough, or

Maybe
someone at daycare poked them with a toy dinosaur and they're simply acting out their revenge fantasies, or, or, or, or....

We have to give them a fair chance you know.

Personally, I think they should be set free.

Wont happen. Our idiotic system sets life for adults at 25 years.

They have 2 hurdles to get through to get that, and I'm guessing it won't happen.

Just think, they could get out and be 40, lots of time to do more stuff.

The Defense didnt question these reports, I wonder why ?

We all know whats coming..........

We should bet. Even their own lawyers didn't oppose an adult sentence. I bet they get that.

You are confusing sociopath with psychopaths. i used to believe that they were one and the same, psychopathy being an extreme manifestation. Some studies now show that sociopaths are born and psychopaths are made. Either way, something has been cut out of them and we lack the ability to fix it.

Disagree. They'll get adult sentances and they won't get parole for a while.
