When I 1st read this I thought that his facebook pic was used to show he was parting up before he drove not 2 weeks after the fact and rubbing salt on an open wound. two years in the clink isn't enough.

Whos to say when he can party? and how soon. Were not his mother, the guy has no regret, obviously, but that should not limit his free will, let the courts do that, not that they will

sorry but i think this is hilarious. He didnt kill anyone so its ok to make light of it i think. It like almost crashing , you laugh about it after, well I do. I have had many friends killed by Drunk drivers and it sucks but this is still funny.

I find nothing amusing about it.

I think you're full of shit too. I don't think you've lost anyone to drunk driving. Or mabey you're just really immature and your brain has a difficult time producing rational thought.

It's getting better though, isn't it? I remember a time when it wasn't seen as much of a crime at all.

Once again though... sorry for your loss. :(

It was 10 years ago and nothings changed people are still drunk driving more then ever thinking it has no consequences..

The Justice system in Canada and the United States is a failure when it comes to drunk driving..

I agree 100% on this. We treat it as a joke...lives get taken and ruined, all because a selfish person couldnt control themselves...its inexcusable. We have always needed tougher sentencing in this area, but unfortunately until a politician loses someone close to them, it wont change.

**Johnny_Utah...I am very sorry for your family's loss...I wish you could have seen justice**

It isn't about him partying. It's how he shows a lack of remorse for the victims in the situation he caused due to his selfishness. It shows how little he cares about what he's done. His arrogance is disturbing.

Yeah thats not being disputed, I didn't say there is no harm in what he has done, just the fact that I can see how it is amusing to people not associated with the victim.

Do not let anger from personal experience take away your ability to laugh. Would your friends as you had known them want you to keep such a grudge?. Would they approve of what you say in there defense.

Everyone has lost someone to drunk driving, some have lost more then one,its how these people take the loss that really shows who they are, likewise with the people who commit the action.

This is not a smart thing to do,but I know for a fact that if my buddies had seen this they would no doubt have laughed, thats the way I remember my friends, for who they were and not how they died.

Tap dancing on the grave has consequences especially when that person is still alive and you are pending sentencing. In poor taste does not even begin to describe the callousness of this act. He has no remorse, saying he can't party is a red herring. He should be dam thankful he didn't kill not laughing at her expense.

PS Johnny, sorry for your loss. Your right on the money about DD laws being a sick joke.
