Dont mind me asking but how does a service dog work out for an autistic person ?

If they start banging their head against the wall the dog bites their ass?

That's terrible.... :) ....A dog trained to assist a person with autism helps them gain independence, confidence, and the ability to perform activities of daily living similar to anyone else, they will also help keep the children from dangerous or ill advised situations they may not be aware of.

Also, their presence is a securing factor for autistic patients.
A well-trained companion animal can give them a good deal of emotional support, which is even more important in "higher-functioning autism".
