Tricks Tricks: BartSimpson BartSimpson: BK is a good burger when it's fresh. When it's been sitting in the holding tray or you get one where the burger sat in the steamer for two hours (it happens) it just sucks. If you go to BK be sure to ask for and insist on one fresh off the broiler. But be sure to watch them make it so they don't spit in it. ![Drink up [B-o]](./images/smilies/drinkup.gif) Me and my buddy found out that burger king will give you a single burger and medium fries for 2 bucks after 9 oclock. So we buy like 6 of them. One weekend back in Uni they did their $1.79 whopper promo. We were going up to UofG that weekend because a friends GF went there and thier rez was throwing a party. We started out driving there around 2PM right after all of us getting 2 whoopers for lunch. Ditto later that night for dinner. A night of drinking and a late night run to BK. Next monrning when we got mobile? You guessed it BK! Repeat day with drinking and BK runs. That sunday we drove home around 11am and stopped off at BK. Not a single one of us could manage to finish even half a burger I kid you not. Good times good times. lol.

$1: Every once in a while. Not very often. Wow!! So, let's try to narrow this; how tall are you - imperial or metric is okay. . . . what do you weigh - as above. . . . I shall get to the bottom of this - despite the obvious attempts to bewilder the unwashed.

Tricks Tricks: You're expecting someone at burger king or mcdonalds to give a shit? Maybe he doesn't give a shit because people like yourself treat him like crap and assume automatically that he is an asshat. Try giving them some respect, you might get it back. Yeah he should probably be more presentable, but it's not like it's wolfgang puck or someshit.
Word of advice, don't go to a hard rock cafe. Read my post, It seems you misunderstood. I didn't treat him like shit,I didn't even talk to him, I left the store and went to the next joint over (where a very nice and friendly teenaged girl helped me) I myself worked at a pizza place and cooked in a bar so I know about the industry. He works in customer service and should be held to a certain standard, regardless of where they work they still get paid for the job and I'm pretty sure any business owner would expect their employees to have the skills nessesary to do the job. Talking to your customers like your on the corner smokin up is NOT acceptable, nor does it reflect well on any companys image.

You didn't give him a chance. Oh and talking to your customers like they are a person will always be far better than being a robot.

For another - I wanna know how fat you are. . . .

Anyway, not that it matters - I'm off to A&W - going to brave transit strikers/picket lines - cold weather - snow banks you can't see over, and have one of their juicy, tasty teenburgers - with an order of small fries;
yum!!

That's my whole point, he didn't talk to me like I was a person, he talked to me like I was one of his "Hommies", which I am not. I am a paying customer, and I'm sorry if I'm the only one who thinks Ebonics doesn't belong in customer service. Communiction is a skill and this kid didn't have it. The whole reason customer service is lacking everywhere is because people just shut up and take the language and crap that doesn't belong in any place of business. I'm a dispatcher and have to communicate with my customers on a daily basis, I'm sure if I answered my phone "Whuts Up?" I would hear about it. Don't even compare industries because I worked in food service and was held to a STANDARD that is lacking in these places nowadays
