Used to make them from scratch very summer - at least a day in dough, old bacon, and potatoes... :x

we found a really simple recipe that you can alter to your own taste. Onion, dill, different cheeses can all be added to the filling

Mrs SprCForr does the same sort of thing.

I think.

I should've been more clear. We get the smokies from the butcher.

Now wait... you're not using coalition logic here. For example, I like:
Peppercorn steak
Apple-rubarb crumble
Clam Chowder

All are good on their own, but together, they taste like crap.

Please come up with 3 ingredients that go well together please.

Perogies are freaking awesome! Too bad I only have store bought, but man they're good. I need to find a good Polish restaurant around here so I can get them homemade

Homemade perogies fried in butter with onions and bacon,I melt the sour cream together with butter and spices slowly so it doesnt curdle and then you have a nice sauce to pour over them.

Now that is perogie heaven.
In a truuly Canadian manner, I recall that my friends and I would sit on our porch after a hearty perogie meal that my mother had made from scratch and let the digestive juices take over to create some of the most tumultuous and odiferous bouts of flatulence that this world has ever been subjected to. I recall one particular event that was timed at 37 seconds. Of course no mosquito would venture within 10 metres of us. If necessary we could use the ripe atmosphere as an emergency source of fuel which was how little boys would often pass the time away during summer camp in the Blue Angel club, chapter PLC #1.

The GG and PM have rekindled some fond memories.
