DrCaleb DrCaleb:
To invoke Suzuki and Saville in a story about Ghomeshi is neither.
Who invoked them? Did you even read the thread? It was not me who brought up Suzuki. My comment was a reply. And others were talking about the BBC in seeming ignorance of Jimmy Saville.
It was you who brought Saville and Suzuki into the conversation! No one else!
N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog:
I guess CBC could have tried the BBC method of hiding the facts until they can no longer be hid, but the problem with that one is eventually they do come out, and when you finally have to come clean, you look even more sleazy.
BBC: The Jimmy Saville Sex ScandalAnd yes the documentation illustrating Suzuki has a touch of sleaze was also factual. He's no Jimmy Saville or Jian Gomeshi, but he does need to start behaving himself. The good ol days of we look the other way while Progressives claim a "war on women" are over.
You should change your signature so it reads 'No facts were harmed in the making of this post'.
N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog:
So allegations of Suzuki's sexual exploitation may not be as serious as the allegations of sexual harassment or assault made against Ghomeshi,
'Allegations' is a strong word. 'Innuendo' and 'only by Ezra Levant', would be closer.
N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog:
or the allegations of offenses as serious as rape made against Jimmy Savile, but he should watch out before he crosses the line. That's what I said.
And Suzuki did no such thing! Which is what I take exception to.
N_Fiddledog N_Fiddledog:
And here's where all three might actually meet. The side that wants to make "war on women" their issue shouldn't support any of them. Not even Suzuki.
And no one even mentioned there was a 'War on Women'. I must have missed that memo, because your comment was the first mention of it in this thread.
