I don't recall there being a senate election in October.

I'll bet a large portion of her supporters don't feel the same way.

I respect your opinions, although I disagree with a lot of them, you always seem committed and genuine.

I think Jack has done the pandora's box thing.
He may have done it for the right reasons but it's looking bad for you NDP guys.

The Tories are not blameless, they are arrogant dickheads who have just been slapped back to reality.

a senate appointment ? why cause she could not win her own riding to begin with ? this coalition is looking like it is going to be nothing but a bunch of sore losers who couldn't win the actual election .

and the greens have no seats in the commons so they won't even be a part of this vote .

no, but the green party is a respected party in the country. they didnt elect any members but they did get some votes. if those votes had been directed to other parties this may not be happening.

OK this is one thing i wouldn't support. I don't mind Elizabeth May, but appointing her to Senate would be wrong. But is it just her saying she would like that, no one from the Liberals is saying they would do that?
