Hyack Hyack:
Why does this come as no surprise:
$1:
Green Leader Elizabeth May, who is a keen supporter of the coalition, said she would be open to an appointment to the Senate so she could play a role in Mr. Dion’s government.
"Of course," she said. "The Green support for a coalition government is unconditional. The nearly one million people who voted Green in Canada would much prefer a coalition government that will support climate action, that will support immediate action for the economy."
Oh no. That would not be good. What happens in parliament is one thing. All those MPs were elected. But to appoint May, who was't elected, to the senate so she can serve in government would be truly undemocratic. It was shite when Harper did it with Fortier, and it would be shite for Dion to do it with May.
Hurley, I think you are starting to get the picture here.
Not good is it?
I respect your opinions, although I disagree with a lot of them, you always seem committed and genuine.
I think Jack has done the pandora's box thing.
He may have done it for the right reasons but it's looking bad for you NDP guys.
The Tories are not blameless, they are arrogant dickheads who have just been slapped back to reality.
For the NDP and Libs, it kinda looks slimy, bordering on semi-traitorous.
