Nice pic but, I'll wait till you give us your impressions of the military culture based on "your" time served before making a derogatory comment.
Nobody is hiding their head in the sand and if you'd bothered to read my posts you'd have noticed I qualified that my opinions were based on my time in the military and Navy specifically but, just because those opinions differed from the former Supreme Court Justice who "interviewed" 700 people didn't necessarily mean she didn't hear some disturbing stories.
Although, nobody has given me an answer to my question how they got the numbers they did. Interviewing 700 people doesn't qualify in defining the military culture anymore than interviewing Jian Ghomeshi qualifies in defining the CBC's culture, no matter what the press who's selling papers claims.
What most serving and ex members would probably have preferred to see before being put on the cross would be Ms Deschamps and he associates getting out in the field or onboard to watch the people interact to see if those 700 people are really representative of the 119,000 Regular, Reserve, Rangers and supplementary military personnel like she's claiming.
Then, you'd have an honest assessment of the perceived or real problems rather than just a knee jerk reaction demanding changes which, thankfully the brass isn't going to implement without further investigation.
