Truth be told, most Americans could not care less about what the Canadian PM has to say.

Harper's been making the rounds, getting his message out, hoping some trickles back into Canada while doing an end-run around Canadian media. He's the Prime Minister. He should be talking to us, not them.

Good question. My conclusion is that he wants Americans more aware of Canada....which brings us back to the loop here.

I think it's a good think with the shadow of protectionism to get closer and more friendly with the U.S. They must see us like one of them, not people stealing their jobs.

Tman1 Tman1: Why should we care if they think 'we' are stealing 'their' jobs? I don't get it and if we are, good. You snooze, you lose. They will demand tariffs and quotas on our products to protect their jobs. That's what protectionism is.
