That is what you do when you sign your application forms.
really? will have to check out the forms.. if you have to sign to do this then there are alot of people reneging on the promise
You get a guide with your applicationforms (or download it from
http://www.cic.gc.ca) and that says what Canada is about. The moment you sign your papers, you promise to be an addition to the country, and obey the law. If you have to attend an interview, and you say you will not live up to Canada's rules and regulations (which nobody ever says of course) you will not be let in, your visa will be denied.
But, since at the moment you get your visa, you are never checked anymore, when you land they are not asking anything but about your goods to follow, you are free to do whatever you want...
