You don't have to be wealthy to know politicians from all stripes. I've been volunteering on campaigns since I was 11 years old when my neighbour ran for Toronto City Councillor. You meet a lot of people along the way.

Canadians and their thoughts about services is outdated and ridiculous. Health care is a prime example, we spend almost half of our total national budget on health care and it's 'never' enough.

But the next time you go to a hospital, look at the waiting room in emergency, full of 'ooo my head hurts, I cut my finger..." BS reasons to be in the ER. GET THE FUCK OUT AND GO TO A CLINIC! Emergency rooms are reserved for the ones who, generally don't make it their under their own power...get the hint?

We are our own worst enemy when it comes to this kind of stuff. We have WAY to many social programs and fund way to many initiatives that we can't afford.

And to all of those bitching about harpers 'rich people only' tax breaks? Oh really? what were they? I am upper middle / lower upper class by income and I have not had one single tax break 'just for me' EVER.
