Blame the powers-that-were-at-the-time that only gave her 12 years in that "deal" before seeing the tapes of what actually took place.

Death penalty would have seen an innocent man on death row, perhaps even executed, case closed. If she was involved in the Bain killing then she still faces life as part of her plea agreement was that she was involved in no[*]her crimes that that of Mahaffy, French and her sister.

That begs another question has CPS of Ontario ever visit the Khadr home for the other kids from the beginning of this debacle ? Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think they ever have. I'm not talking about registerd letters either, I mean a house visit.
