Dude, saying Trudeau is doing OK during COVID isn't letting him off the hook for anything he's fucked up. All it means is that some of us have put the other ongoing nonsense on the back burner because the new story is that much more critical. I would be very interested to see how much the liberals shift on policy towards china and globalization after the dust settles. That said, Justin has not made any major missteps during this and has been a steady hand at the wheel. In fact I am hard pressed to say any of our leaders have really overplayed their hands during this. I say this knowing the liberals wanted full power if the purse till nov 2021 in the initial aid bill but they did back off.

We shall se how long this lasts but my faith in minority government has never been stronger.

How many times since this began have we been hearing from the "experts", "your pets can't get Covid-19, you can't get it from your pets." Over and over again. But now, apparently dogs and cats at least can get it. But don't worry, the "experts" still insist you can't get it from them. Really? Then how are the cats and dogs getting it?

The federal govt has totally bungled this from the get go. They're listening to a UN organ, not an independent medical body. The WHO has also bungled this from the get go. Nor do I entirely trust the WHO after the whole BC bud fiasco.
Trudeau also sent 16 tonnes of PPE to China in his usual fashion of thinking only about how something makes him look today with no thought to future potential consequences, much like the last 4 years.

Also keep in mind that Groper went on his begging tour of Africa and Europe even AFTER the WHO declared Covid-19 to be a serious public health matter of international concern. When the virus was announced as a pandemic he did nothing to protect Canadians until his wife tested positive and even then the first thing he did was make a power grab. By the way, the borders are STILL open to "asylum seekers". Yep, can't take your dog for a walk in the fucking park around here but hey, we'll still let people enter the country.

Look, I'm willing to give credit where it's due but the only reason the Federal govt looks good is because of the actions of several provinces and their Premiers. All Groper has done is try to work this to his personal advantage.

And no Scape, they didn't back off the power grab. Even just recently Groper was trying to convince the Premiers to go along with enabling the Emergency Measures Act.
