DrCaleb DrCaleb:
In all the other protests I have been to, no one has ever brought a weapon. I doubt anyone even thought to. We were there to protest, not cause mayhem. That is what political discourse looks like. As I wrote earlier, anyone bringing guns to a protest is looking to cause trouble.

No guns when I went to protest the Vietnam war in the 70s either. But I went to Bishop University, not Kent State. :(

You're also Canadians and you don't have a national history of widespread violence that goes back all the way to the founding of the country. Americans do have that kind of history though, with political/social violence from any side having a long tradition behind it. The only other western country with that kind of violent tradition is France, with them becoming that way when they were inspired in the 1780's by the American revolution.

Canada and the US don't have that different a history. We just pretend we don't.

I'm watching a show on Netflix, starring Jason Momoa (Frontier), that is about the hold the Hudsons' Bay Company had on Canada, and if even half of that shit is true then our history is nothing to be proud of.

Mass public violence against the ruling government & against each other didn't create our nationhood the same way it did in the US. That's the major difference I'm talking about. We also didn't have a bloodsoaked civil war either, one with both positive & negative results that still echo in the US today.

Americans, all pussies until you put a gun in their hands, then they suddenly become Rambo. Am I right?

Alright, alright, put your guns down, I'm just messing with you, I happen to know for sure that there are a few good Americans. [door]

Well, some of that traditional violence just erupted in the US within the last few hours because some maniac just ran an SUV at high speed through a Christmas parade in Wisconsin and mowed down thirty people. And I'll be dollars to donuts right now that it was done by someone either enraged at the Rittenhouse verdict & seeking revenge or someone happy with the verdict & going copycat. Or just another Muslim POS being his true self. Or some incel POS being his true self. Or any one of a multitude of POSs who did it because their politics & their anger mean more than the lives of people who did nothing at all to harm them.

Or could be the opening shots fired in the war on Christmas this year.

Turns out to be another black career criminal with a record longer than a football field. Apparently he was out on bail, despite having at least three current felony charges pending against him because Waukesha doesn't keep them behind bars if they pay a cash bail. And his bail was apparently only $1000, and he was released just a couple of days ago from his last arrest.

5 dead, 40 injured, including children. Gonna be fun to watch the woke spin this one being a result of a life "haunted by the evil of white supremacy", just like they always do. Another bloody branch tossed onto the pile of wood ready to ignite, just waiting for the proper fuel to come along to burn the entire US down.

Which is why the smart thing is always to ignore the “woke”.

Sadly, this looks like a random, horrific tragedy. No rhyme, no reason. Just sadness and suffering.

The media's writing it off already as the result of a "domestic disturbance". Massive fail in progress as the elites bury as just something that happened. No political gain in it for them, even though everyone knows there'd be a thousand pieces posted about how "he did it because of his privilege" if he was white.

Whatever. I give up today. Never should have got out of bed.

This is working as intended, a huge distraction.

More like the media is so lazy they can't pay attention to more than one issue at a time. No conspiracy or false flags, just they won't do any hard work any more if it doesn't generate enough clicks & ratings for them. It's like running a newspaper or news channel according to same rules a magazine for 14 year old girls operates by - "what's hot today? Rittenhouse! what's not hot? career criminal mowing down dozens of people with his car".

One of the more liberal sites I go to couldn't be bothered to mention Waukesha at all today. Instead they had a story about some anti-Jake Gyllenhall campaign being conducted by some high school girls because the kids are mad at him for dirting Taylor Swift ten years ago when they were dating. That source I used to go to had been deleted from my bookmarks as of today, as have at least three other ones that are deliberately avoiding Waukesha because it doesn't suit their narrative or ratings needs.

Fuck all the media, period. Every single one of them, no matter what side they're on, is a filthy disgusting rat bastard ideologue. Every. Single. One. Of. Them.

Media's mantra of "if it bleeds, it leads" is getting way out of hand. Any attempts to reign in the division they are creating will be met with cries of censorship, and allegations that the state is attempting to curtail free speech.

The state won't do a thing because it knows a populace too busy fighting amongst themselves will be too busy to see the state consolidating power over the people.

Democracy is dying and things are just getting started.

"The People" are shit too and entirely deserve what happens to them. I've had enough of the pretense that there's anything worth salvaging, let it all collapse and turn to fucking dust.
