It's a joke.

I am aware of this, but I usually respond in a literal sense. Joke or not, I have a tendency of still correcting errors.

And I'd expect the same form anybody else.

Blaming the Libs again.

Considering that he was under fire from a conservative catholic priest I'd say you are blaming the wrong party.

The media reports on anything and they were as bad if not worse on the Libs. If Harper doesn't want the public scrutiny then he is free to step down as PM.

When is the last time the media gave a rats ass about what a catholic thinks?
This was another Liberal media "gotcha" drive-by.

Look it up.

IT'S GOING TO BE AN INTERESTING AUDIENCE WITH THE POPE, STEVE
http://www.warrenkinsella.com/

Based on the anti-catholic crap this guy shovels, he simply has no moral grounds to stand on.

It may be posted on his blog but it was a conservative catholic priest fuming over the alleged transgression.

The media prints this kind of stuff all the time. You certainly don't mind when they post the rantings of some muslim cleric.

You didn't mind posting Chretiens priest taking issue with him receiving communion because of his parties stance on abortion.

Where was your outrage then? Where did you claim it was "gotcha politics" (BTW Poquas says that everything you post is gotcha politics).

Where was your "its a private religious matter anyway"? Seems you didn't hold that opinion when it was the Libs but now that its the CPC "its a non-issue".

Show he the link to this "conservative catholic priest".
Find my post, slagging Chretien's religion-abortion poblem also because the whole abortion thing is one I don't comment much about.

This is almost as big for you folks as the science minister who was a catholic..

$1:
The prime minister has come under fire from a senior priest in New Brunswick, who had been demanding an explanation about what happened to the small wafer, considered sacred by the church and supposed to be swallowed.

Harper accepted the wafer at the Roman Catholic funeral last Friday of former governor general Romeo LeBlanc in Memramcook, N.B.

Msgr. Brian Henneberry, vicar general and chancellor in the Diocese of Saint John in New Brunswick, said it was unclear what happened to the wafer — and that it would be scandalous if the prime minister put it in his pocket.

Talk to this guy if you want blame for kicking up dust and don't even try to claim you didn't post against Chretien when he was under fire from catholic priests. I'm not trolling through your 18000 posts to confirm you posting an attack against Chretien. You can't even manage to make it through any of these Harper threads without attacking the Liberals in some way. Your MO is well established.

Still, when was the last time the CBC cared what a catholic minister ever said?
Did they ask how their religion would affect them doing the job of sience minister?

They cared when they were bitching about Chretiens pro-choice stance. That got lots and lots of press as you well know.

Like I said, you are fooling no one. When this kind of fluff happened to the Libs you were the first person starting threads about it. Now no matter what Harper or the CPC does its either a non-issue or media bias.

The Libs had to endure this treatment and if your boy Harper isn't up to the task then he is free to step down.

Ok. It's an error to correct someone else's error..........

Funny, I don't remember saying that..... must be my memory again. Hasn't been so good since the "Accident."

I was just clarifying myself.... and didn't I say:

"And I'd expect the same form anybody else."

^ Thus it wouldn't be an error to correct someone else's error based on how I expressed my own reasoning. I see no conflict in logic.

really all this over what? whether he ate a communion wafer or not? really I don't like the man much, but if I'm going to go after him and his party I'd look something bigger than whether or not he ate a communion wafer. this whole affair is quite childish, is there not bigger problems in the world, like the death of Michael Jackson we should be worrying about?

Thanks for the idea, however while I am new here, this isn't the first forum I've been in, nor the first time I entered a debate.

I'm not claiming to be some expert, but I do know the basics.

"Usually" was in regards to my overall history of debating. My apologies if I didn't clarify that as well as expected.

Perhaps this might help enlighten you about some of my background:
