Brigade will arrive in box too. Army will not, but brigade will.

What exactly do you want? You've argued for a long time for more intervention/support from the West. Now when someone suggests doing just that, you make threats. That doesn't make sense. What exactly do you want?

It's not a threat, it's his ESL.

Take it as a warning.

"Don't go down that dark alley dude, you'll get screwed up."

I've just watched this video showing some of the victims lying amongst the smouldering wreckage.

WARNING: It contains gruesome footage which you may find disturbing.

True which is a sad statement of the situation, as for the video maybe it should be shown so the lame stream media and the World doesn't forget the brutality.

Who was it that said the dutchies should drop a brigade on the crash site to guard it?

This brigade would be transferred to Holland in boxes.

Don't think the insurgents would be much of a match for a NATO brigade.

No doubt - and remember, the Dutch were one of the few European countries who got serious combat experience against insurgents in Afghanistan.

A Dutch mechanized infantry brigade would slice the separatists to ribbons - the only problem would come afterwards, assuming the Russians didn't intervene to protect the scumbags.

It's time for the UN to step in and get some peacekeepers in there - too bad the Russians have a veto.

I wonder if we could get enough support in the General Assembly...without having to make deals with too many dictators. Sigh, probably not.

That sounds like a good idea but the UN better have the stomach because it would require a long commitment.

So some of the dead people's credit cards may have been used fraudulently.

Shoot down a passenger aircraft then loot the bodies.

I do believe it is time to put this tragedy in perspective. Russian President Putin must be held accountable. It's an open secret that Russia has been helping the rebels. Why has not Nato forces been engaged in the Ukrain to push back the Russians. Putin should be charged with war crimes against humanity.

So, what approach do you suggest for NATO?

... full armoured assault?

... airborne special forces in the dead of night? Those guys just love to die.

... perhaps a few theatre nuclear weapons ...

Who will do the fighting? The Europeans aren't going to. That leaves the Americans, again perhaps with a British brigade added on. Perhaps Canada and Australia will kick in enough soldiers to make up another half a brigade(with no replacements, mind).

Okay. We've got a plan. Putin will be quaking in his boots when he hears about this.

If Ukrainian rebels shot down the Malaysian jetliner, killing 298 people, it may have been because they didn't have the right systems in place to distinguish between military and civilian aircraft, experts said Saturday.

But to function correctly, an SA-11 launcher, also known as a Buk, is supposed to be connected to a central radar command — as opposed to acting alone — to be certain of exactly what kind of aircraft it is shooting at.

From the information that has come to light so far, the rebels don't appear to have such systems, said Pavel Felgenhauer, a respected defence columnist for Novaya Gazeta, a Moscow-based newspaper known for its critical coverage of Russian affairs.

Social media postings from the rebels in the immediate aftermath of Thursday's Malaysia Airlines disaster also suggested they had assumed civilian aircraft were avoiding the area and that anything in the air was hostile.

If a missile was fired without attempting to identify the aircraft, the destruction of Malaysia Flight 17 would be an act of criminal negligence, said retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Robert Latiff. He said commercial airliners operate on known communications frequencies and emit signals that identify them and give their altitude and speed.
