You're right about the Liberals not being in power here for a long time....but most post relates to the fact that years and years of Liberal interference in law making have led to a system where the legal system (not justice system) goes out of its way to make likfe easy on criminals.
It's a very general statement to say that all Liberals love criminals, but sadly, that's the way it seems.
The Liberals infiltrated the schools/courts, in Ontario, during the long tenure of the big blue machine.
Both agencies enjoy a political armslength existance beyond the reach of
elected governments,
