Zipperfish Zipperfish: There is unrest in the forest There is trouble with the trees For the maples want more sunlight But the oaks ignoire their pleas. Oh, Ok, thanks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bZwTH15qBQNo offense though, but after listening to it I kind of get why it's obscure.

That's Neil Peart lyrics when he was in his Ayn Rand phase--figured you of all people would appreciate that.

It's a thing I wonder about sometimes. Over on the right wing blogosphere there's this almost a genre of confessional we get intermittently, but consistently. It's the one that basically goes "Why I don't want be a Commie like Michael Moore anymore. Take me Republicans". OK, I said that with a smile, but in reality it looks more like this... Weekend Must-Read: Ten Reasons Why I Am No Longer a LeftistMy favorite talk show host won't shut up about her come to Jesus era of revelation when she moved from left to right. So my question is, do you guys get those on the left a lot too?

He's distanced himself from Ayn Rand (who, herself, despised libertarians). He describes himself now as a "bleeding heart libertarian." There's always lots of propaganda points from converts. Myself, I've moved right over the years. But I wouldn't call myself a convert--still left of centre on most issues.

Zipperfish Zipperfish: 2Cdo 2Cdo: Yes, there needs to be a law. While we're at it, we need to cut down the oak trees so they're the same saize as the maples. $1: That reminds me of a song. Five points for picking up the Obscure Cultural Reference. Obscure? I think of that thing every time I use a hatchet, axe, or saw.

Here is an excellent article on just what a fraud and hypocrite Moore really is: http://www.newsofinterest.tv/politics/b ... _moore.phpI love the part how he takes a Concorde flight to London, and stays at the Ritz to promote Roger and me. He than rents a cheap room at another hotel to meet with journalists so as to appear as a man of humble circumstances. This guy is a total fraud.

It would probably be fine with the right if he just bought up companies and then bankrupted them and sold off the remnants lock, stock and barrel like R-Money did. Yeah, he's just horrible. He started out from blue collar roots and became wealthy - how horrible it must have been for the upper classes to see that the American Dream still exists. Guess it's time for a couple more subprime/banking crises to finally stamp that out once and for all. /sarcasm
