It will be funny when all the union idiots start screaming about job cuts from Orville Redenbacker like they did to her liberal sister Redfraud.

I only called those who said idiotic things idiots, Had I said "that's an idiotic thing to say" instead of "you're an idiot" that would have been fine? Or maybe I should have just said "your mom's a slut" cause that seems to be ok around here. I understand I'm the newbie but there's a bullshit double standard going on here. And it was still Qball who called me the idiot first. Where's the mod warning on him? Hmmm?

[cry]

Show us where in this thread he called you an idiot. Because I don't see it anywhere.

Maybe it's time you manned up, admitted you fucked up and quit whining about your warning. :roll:

You're right. He called me a brain dead sheep. But at least I'm getting the rules around here figured out: calling people who say idiotic things idiots = bad, calling people assholes (ShepherdsDog called me one on this thread) = okay, calling people brain dead sheep = okay, calling peoples' mothers whores/sluts = okay. Check.

If you're one of the people who voted for that collection of criminals known as the Ontario Liberal Party then the shoe fits. He still didn't mention you by name. :roll:

Simply posting, "You're an idiot", which is about half of your posts, I figured you needed a trolling lesson if you're going to troll. Calling someone an idiot is not discussion or debate unless you actually plan on explaining YOUR position.

bootlegga bootlegga:
Ontario better gets its act in gear or they are going to have to resort to drastic measures like the federal government did during the 90s.

A lot of Martin's success in reducing the federal deficit was due to decreasing transfer payments. Effectively there was a debt transfer from the federal to the provincial level. So who would the provincial government download their debt to? The municipalities?

Why not? It's pretty much what they did in the 90s.

It doesn't matter if it's due to attrition or not. It's still replacing a high income full time position with a dead-end minimum wage job. Is that what we Ontario to become, a land of menial work? Why not go that one step father and start competing with Bangladeshi textile sweat shops?

I guess you don't understand what attrition is. When people leave their jobs for a variety of reasons, they aren't replaced. Those people aren't going to a min-wage job, they are leaving the public sector either to retire, new job, death, etc.

With our debt and poor management, Ontario is moving towards a land of menial work. By voting for them, you've continued on that trend.

For someone that voted for these guys, it's awful ironic for you to start calling people "idiots".

Got a better answer than that? If you mean Martin/Chretien, then the person you replied to had just said that, so you'd just be practicing echolalia.

Geez andy, yer slippin'. This is what I responded to;

You see andy, it's called answering a question. That's how discussions work from time to time. Occasionally someone asks a question that isn't necessarily rhetorical.

But, there really isn't much that provinces can download debt to cities. AFAIK cities can't run deficits. City funding comes mostly from property taxes. All that provinces can do is contribute less to infrastructure projects than they might otherwise. Can't make cities take on healthcare and education, the portfolios that take the big bucks. Whereas the feds way reduced their share of healthcare costs, then and they are doing it again now.
