I don't applaud anything the Taliban do: I don't like thugs using and killing innocent people, including children (in case you hadn't noticed).

Should we negotiate with 'em? Hamid Karzai seems to think he'll have to eventually.

So why do you continue to trash the troops when the Terrorists are infact killing far more civilians (deliberately) than the coalition is by way of accident? Scared that someone may actually give you a Positive Rep for a change?

In a nation where civvies call the shots, ordinary citizens have a responsibility to hold your feet to the fire and demand a decent standard of conduct from members of their military. Otherwise we get Somalias - and worse - from you.

So, according to his comments canada's civilian authorities didn't control our military 15 years ago and we weren't a democracy. Streaker commenting on military issues is like Mike Tyson discussing Quantum Theory. He'sentitled to express them sure, but are they informed or relevant? ....highly unlikely.
