Cue the Obama is a muslim in hiding loons

The person at the top of that list is...Obama himself.

$1:
Obama, speaking to ABC's George Stephanopoulos on "This Week," was talking about what he described as "smears" that were claiming he was a Muslim when he maintains he is a practicing Christian.

"Let's not play games," Obama stated. "What I was suggesting – you're absolutely right that John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith. And you're absolutely right that that has not come."

Stephanopoulos immediately interrupted Obama, stating, "Christian faith."

"My Christian faith," Obama quickly said. "Well, what I'm saying is that he (McCain) hasn't suggested that I'm a Muslim. And I think that his campaign's upper echelons have not, either. What I think is fair to say is that, coming out of the Republican camp, there have been efforts to suggest that perhaps I'm not who I say I am when it comes to my faith – something which I find deeply offensive, and that has been going on for a pretty long time."

Slip of the lip? Perhaps. In any case, Obama said what he said and he fed fuel to the fire with this comment and with many other comments that sound unusual coming from a supposedly practicing (but not devout) Christian.

No, that wasn't a slip or admission that he is Muslim. He was responding to the claim that he was a Muslim.

Annnnnnnnd right on cue....perfect

My point is that Obama needs to choose his words more carefully. It's hard to effectively denounce the Obama-is-a-Muslim crowd when Obama can be accurately quoted saying such things.

Anybody can be quoted out of context, half quoted to mean anything. For example I'm sure I can quote you saying you love all muslims :D

Of course. Them's the House Rules as I understand them.

Either way, Trevor wins.

Edit: and you just got drafted to moderate the wager if DD decides to put his money where his keyboard is.

Well this is good news - the Mosque that is. Kind of shocking that he even had to go out and enforce this so late into the game, but hopefully this will help stop the muslim = terrorist stupidity. Then again, I'm not surprised since that whole mentality was one of Bush's excuses for having two wars we didn't need. You know, the whole 'we will make no distinction between the terrorists and those who harbour them' bit.

Yep, 9/11 had nothing to do with anything. It's all Bush's fault.

9/11 was almost 10 years ago. We could have taken care of this mess and let it go within a couple of years. Instead, the notion of vengeance was endorsed not only towards terrorists, but to all nations that they belonged to. The juiciest irony being, that they would never bomb Washington State, lol.

That aside, they could have taken a more covert approach instead of outright declaring wars on nations and painting all those who lived in these nations as terrorists themselves. We could have just as easily educated our own public about terrorists without the propaganda of stereotyping them exclusively with certain nations/religions.

But, yea, let's keep the retarded assumptions going.

So the wars were okay but we should've stopped at some arbitrary date and forgave and forgot? What? [huh]

Killing is bad if it's in a declared war, but if we do it sekritly then it's okay by you?

The American public got all the education they wanted on 9/11. If you want to be all touchy-feely about the islamowankers go ahead. We just want them dead.
