Afghan Rights Fall Short for Christian Converts
$1:
The jail commander had remained silent as the prisoner, Sayed Mussa, told a reporter about his journey from Islam to Christianity: his secret baptism nine years earlier, his faith in Jesus Christ and the promise of heaven.

Aid worker to be killed for being Christian
$1:
AN Afghan man working for the Red Cross said he will be executed unless he converts back to Islam.

Said Musa was detained eight months ago and has been held since then in a Kabul prison, where he said in an interview with The (London) Sunday Times he has been tortured and sexually abused.

Really?

Until you give me a reporter that pins his name to this I wont accept it as true.

Here is the first mention of the story that I could find.

And here is the web sites agenda:

$1:

**Edit** The NYT story does add credibility, I think the story smells fishy but I cant say it smells like bullshit.

Google it and then get back to me about believing something just because a reporter puts their name on it.

In any case, that this is happening has nothing to do with whose name is on the story.

I still find it odd that this story in only on a half dozen online only news web sites and in the Times. You'd think every agency from CBC to Fox would be all over this.

The media (all of them) tend to be a herd and there's certain stories they don't deem 'newsworthy'. The reality is FOX avoids stuff like this up until someone like Glen Beck or Hannity covers it and then the rest of the media tends to avoid stories like this under the excuse that they don't want to provoke anti-Muslim sentiment.

Even the dynamic of the recent vote for secession in South Sudan has been tacitly avoided: the non-Muslim south voted to secede from the Muslim north due to ongoing atrocities by the Muslim Arab militia (aka janjaweed) against the animist and Christian black population.

Try finding that story. It's out there, but it's hard to find.

The story in this case is quite accurate in that Afghanistan's NATO approved constitution allowed them to become a sharia state and that means that no Afghan is allowed to leave Islam except by death.
