As of Oct 1:68 PERCENT

$1:
Above 80 percent approval for parts of her term -- she was at 82 percent in a key local poll twice this year -- Palin's popularity has swooned as new information about the local abuse-of-power investigation known as Troopergate has trickled out, and as national and local media pick over her track record as a governor and small-town mayor.

The wipeout in the 2006 election left Republicans in such a state of dejection that they've overlooked the one shining victory in which a Republican star was born. The triumph came in Alaska where Sarah Palin, a politician of eye-popping integrity, was elected governor. She is now the most popular governor in America, with an approval rating in the 90s, and probably the most popular public official in any state.

Today she is supposedly in the 60's for approval - probably because the Alaskan Dems are still in the afterglow of hating her for running against Obama. Give it a couple months into the Obama administration and she'll be back up in the 80's again.

She was officially cleared by the Democrats in the State Senate on 'Troopergate' the day before the election - essentially proving that the whole issue about it was just a political stunt anyway.

Palin blames the Bush administration for the failure of the McCain-Palin ticket

Gotta hand it to Bush, if it wasn't for him we would have Gore and not Obama. Btw bart with the bailout how's your job security? Who screwed that up?
