But people will forget all about Harper slagging off the gala's and this will be the lasting image. It's all over talk-radio and youtube. Harper has basically admitted he was wrong and played nice with the artists.

The people he said were 'elitists' last year gave him a standing ovation.

No need to be jealous because your guy turned out to be a dud.

This is great PR for Harper while your guy is pulling the knives out of his back.

"My Guy" has yet to prove himself "A Dud" and one has nothing to do with the other. However if you insist....

This was a master stroke for Harper. He's looking all 'common man' while Iggy is looking like Caesar on the Senate floor during the Ides of March.

Whatever, it was nice to see. I was suprised by his musical abilities piano and signing wise, Beatles songs arent that hard to play but they chose the right song to fit the key of his voice.

It didn't come across as political to me, just a politician having some fun and maybe poking some fun at the media for calling him boring and dull for all these years.

I'd like to think I would say the same if any other politician did the same thing. Even if it was a Bloc head, and if I couldn't say anything nice I would just then keep my mouth shout about the whole thing or risk comming across as whining about it and being a little bit jealous whishing their favorite leader did it first.
