Prior to 911 most people in the West probably knew little about Islam, militant or benign.

911 ended that. I would think that the negative views many have about Islam will not change until terrorism in Islam's name ceases. Sad but true.

Playing devils advocate I can say the same, The west's specially the USA's blatant support for Israeli aggression towards the palestenians will also never change the the negative view they have of the west until it stops.

The negative view of the West hasn't stopped millions of Muslims leaving their places of birth to come and live amongst us.

I can go ten times longer on cutting your facts to shreds, case by case.( many have, including myself done so here) But I have better things to do. As I've said before nothing I or anyone else here on this forum or elsewhere says will change your mind or make you think any different, because you have already choosen what you want to believe and know that to be the only truth for you.

And honestly its a waste of time, you spend good time in trying to prove your point or dispell some misinformation or myth only to see it pop right back up in the next thread and you throw up you hands, WTF ! I said I was playing the devils advocate. And also as I said 99.9% of the people just want peace, security and a good life for their family. And really couldn't give two coins toss about all this.

I don't exactly agree with the US foreign policy or people like el barto but that wont stop me from going there. Just as the large population of Western Expats living a good life in the middle east way beyond what they could in their home countries come to live "amongst us".

There really isn't any us vs them. Its just been created by greedy people in power to serve their political or power agendas. Its us fools who fall for their spin.

And if you want to get historical like bart more Muslims have been killed by Christians than vice versa
