A tad too clever weren't we, Mr. Harper? Dumbass. Probably not a fatal mistake, but hopefully teach him not to teach Canadians like we're a bunch of idiots. Even though we are.

Yep. As bad as the optics of the prorogue are this is kinda worse. Don't tell people what they care about. Ironically had Harper droned on and on about how much Canadians really do care they probably would've tuned him out.

Methinks Harper screwed up, yet it will probably (in the long run) turn out to be beneficial to the Conservative party.

An extra couple of months off, free from the bad comedy act in Question Period, is something to be celebrated and not feared.

AngusReid: Con 34% Lib 28% Ndp 19% ...

Here's another one.. (EKOS)

$1:
The Conservatives now lead by a marginal 1.6 percentage points over the Liberals, compared with the 15-point advantage they had in a mid-October survey, according to the EKOS poll released exclusively to CBC News.

Asked which party they would support if an election were held tomorrow, 30.9 per cent of those polled chose the Conservatives, and 29.3 per cent backed the Liberals.

The poll found 15.3 per cent of respondents supporting the NDP, 11.9 per cent the Green Party and 10.2 per cent the Bloc Québécois.

Somebody tell me why polls matter? You can get a "random" sampling of people to say anything they want.

It's the only thing they have.

Look, we are only losing by 5 points this week instead of 6 !!

Wohooo, kick the Con ass !!

Oh right, forgot they are still behind. :)

Well it's nice to see that Iggy has been the beneficiary of the voters Harper lost XD .

That guy is useless. I see he'll no longer be able to use the detainees issue anymore.
current-events-f59/the-liberals-were-in-the-know-t86681.html

He's already running out of ammo and there won't be an election for 3 months..maybe...if Iggy grows a pair by then.

It should be remembered that the polls were like this after the last prorogue and they went nowhere but up after that.

What's missing here is a real capitalization by the Liberals. It's simply not enough, regardless of that this poll says, to say "Look! Harper bad!" without giving the voters a real reason to believe the Liberals are a decent alternative. Granted there are some who will vote Liberal if Paris Hilton was leading the party but to really swing voters over it will take more than a good poll. Removing Peter Donolo and letting Iggy lead the party like he was supposed to do would be a start, imo. Mind you, while I'm at it, the CPC would make gains if they could find a quiet way to lose Day.

Yeah this is the thing, the Liberals have blown their wad already on this prorogue-gate. If there's an election and this is the key reason then their attack ads won't be new, on the other hand we'd hear the Conservatives fighting back with all the prorogue shenanigans that went un-noticed during the Chretien years. At the moment the CPC is pretty mum on that.

Pissed? More like mildly annoyed, except for the shrieking far-left insane asylum escapees! Your man Iggy has about as much balls as his predecessor Stephanie, which is exactly none.

Harper has a while yet before he will be gone, you'd best learn to live with it.

It'll be interesting to compare the facebook protest to the coalition protests numbers. There doesn't seem to be the same outrage as there was 14 months ago as far as people phoning radio talk shows. But I have to admit, I'm living in the middle of deep blue sea of Alberta and can't see beyond the horizon.
