This guy is the regional director of health protection and he makes a statment like that....he obviously doesnt recall the black plague in the middle ages spread by rats, or the Hanta virus spread by rats....of course vancouver is over-populated and could use some thinning out before the olympics

I think the plague was spread by fleas that hitchhiked on rats, so wash your rats at least once a week and there is no problem. :lol:
