Russia is being invaded again by Russians and the head of the Russia space program is under investigation by the 6 story window for corruption because Moscow was hit during the daytime by drones traveling over 500 kilometers away and they were unable to stop them. Not one of the drones had a warhead but the PR damage to the Kremlin is on par to 9-11.

Zeihan was right when he predicted earlier this year that the next major target of Russian brutality would be the Ukrainian agricultural sector. Destruction of damn and emptying of reservoir doesn't just delay expected Ukrainian assaults, it also puts into play the strong possibility of a major famine in southeast Ukraine and Crimea with the potential to starve millions of civilians trapped behind Russian lines.....

Russia is an actively evil country. They always have been and they always will be.

Nato members may send troops to Ukraine, warns former alliance chief

$1:
A group of Nato countries may be willing to put troops on the ground in Ukraine if member states including the US do not provide tangible security guarantees to Kyiv at the alliance’s summit in Vilnius, the former Nato secretary general Anders Rasmussen has said.

Rasmussen, who has been acting as official adviser to the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, on Ukraine’s place in a future European security architecture, has been touring Europe and Washington to gauge the shifting mood before the critical summit starts on 11 July.

He also warned that even if a group of states did provide Ukraine with security guarantees, others would not allow the issue of Ukraine’s future Nato membership to be kept off the agenda at Vilnius.

He made his remarks as the current Nato chief, Jens Stoltenberg, said the issue of security guarantees would be on the agenda at Vilnius, but added that Nato – under article 5 of the Washington treaty – only provided full-fledged security guarantees to full members.

The US ambassador to Nato, Julianne Smith, said: “We are looking at an array of options to signal that Ukraine is advancing in its relationship with Nato.”

Rasmussen said: “If Nato cannot agree on a clear path forward for Ukraine, there is a clear possibility that some countries individually might take action. We know that Poland is very engaged in providing concrete assistance to Ukraine. And I wouldn’t exclude the possibility that Poland would engage even stronger in this context on a national basis and be followed by the Baltic states, maybe including the possibility of troops on the ground.

“I think the Poles would seriously consider going in and assemble a coalition of the willing if Ukraine doesn’t get anything in Vilnius. We shouldn’t underestimate the Polish feelings, the Poles feel that for too long western Europe did not listen to their warnings against the true Russian mentality.”

He said it would be entirely legal for Ukraine to seek such military assistance.

His striking suggestion that some states may regard the stakes as momentous enough to use their own troops could be seen as a warning to countries that the risks, including the threat to Nato unity, do not only come if Ukraine is provided a quick path to Nato membership, or powerful security guarantees. Germany remains wary of going too far, fearing it would provoke Russia.

Rasmussen said it was imperative that Ukraine should receive written security guarantees, preferably before the summit, but outside the Nato framework. These need to cover intelligence sharing, joint Ukraine training, enhanced ammunition production, Nato interoperability and a supply of arms sufficient to deter Russia from a further attack.

Do it. A truly provocative and correct thing to do in response to latest war crime by Russia would be to declare Ukraine a de facto member of NATO and give Russia a fixed time to get out or face some real pain.

The Eastern Bloc has been gone for over thirty years. But it's probable that any of the countries that experienced the fun of being occupied by Russia from 1945 to 1990 have lots of people with long memories who would be more than willing to sign up just to finally take a shot back at the sons of bitches.

RFK Jr shows that the void-like soul of a left-wing pro-Russian tankie is just as empty of any human decency as their counterparts on the pro-Trump pro-Putin right are - blames the US for "killing 350000 Ukrainian kids" who were actually killed by, you guessed it, the Russians.....

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/fox-news-an ... -russians/

$1:
Robert F Kennedy Jr. joined Fox News’s Neil Cavuto on Thursday to discuss his longshot bid to unseat President Joe Biden and win the 2024 Democratic Party nomination for president.

Known for his bombastic rhetoric and wild claims regarding vaccines and the Covid-19 pandemic, RFK Jr. made another one during the interview by claiming the U.S. “killed 350,000 Ukrainian kids.” The comment came as RFK Jr. was slamming the U.S. for supporting Ukraine’s effort to fight off the invading Russians.

The baseless claim led to an immediate pushback from Cavuto, who calmly replied, “But we’re not doing that, right? That’s the Russians doing that.” RFK Jr. did not take the opportunity to correct himself as though he had misspoken and replied by saying, “Well, but, you know, what was our history of provocations?”

The exchange began with Cavuto asking the presidential candidate to clarify his position on Ukraine, “Are you saying you do not support the war effort in Ukraine? I’m sorry, I wasn’t clear.”

“No, I don’t. You know, I think the war in Ukraine has gone on. There’s been mission creep in that war,” RFK Jr. replied, adding:

$1:
And I don’t think the United States government or the Ukrainian government have been honest about the true purpose of that war.

I think we’ve been given a comic book depiction that, you know, this war was not, an unprovoked attack by Vladimir Putin. Clearly, Vladimir Putin made an illegal invasion. It’s been brutal. The Ukrainian people have been victimized by it and they’ve shown incredible valor and courage. But I think the U.S. has not been candid about its purpose in the war.

Inadvertently, Yes, they have. I mean, President Biden said the purpose of the war is to do regime change in Russia. And Lloyd Austin, who is the defense secretary, has said that the purpose is to exhaust the Russian army and degrade its capacity to fight anywhere else in the world. Well, if that’s true, if that’s our purpose. And Ukraine is now a victim of geopolitical machinations between two great powers and is fighting a proxy war for the United States against Russia. And this has nothing to do with Ukrainian freedom or sovereignty.

It has to do with the ambitions of the neo-cons who surround President Biden to depose President Putin and to exhaust the Russian army. And we are it’s not good for our country.

RFK Jr. then ended his unwieldy response, saying, “We’re pushing the Russians into the embrace of the Chinese, which is the worse political outcome, geopolitical outcome that we could go for. Worst of all, we’ve killed 350,000 Ukrainian kids and, you know, in a, for a sham, something that you know, where they are going and fighting, believing that they’re fighting for their nation.”

Cavuto did not return to the subject and eventually moved on to ask about tax policy.

Trump. RFK Jr. Roger Waters. Oliver Stone. Medea Benjamin. Practically every one of the dipshits from the 1960's SDS and other college moron movements. That host of Russian-connected ghouls who worked in the Trump Admin. Just what is it that makes some of these political and celebrity baby boomers turn into literal drizzling diarrhea as human beings when they reach their sixties and seventies? :?
