They are also not used to clandestine statecraft. When you get caught, the first thing you should say is 'it's not policy, it was lone actors'. Instead they try to shame trudeau into retracting the truth.

As an up and coming super power they have taken far too many ques from the Saudis on how to act but they are a one trick pony and they can get away with heinous crimes because they are the worlds gas station. India needs to play nice with the international community or it will cripple their economy. That truth is starting to sink in. They NEED a rules based economy far more than the world economy needs them or they can kiss their dreams of sitting at the big boy table goodbye.

Yes, a certain degree of larceny is accepted but out and out extra-judicial killings on the international scale is something not even China can get away with.
