Brussels cancels peace march amid fears ISIS will use it to launch ANOTHER brutal attack as flowers flood the city in memory of those killed in this week's bombings

Ya, never mind the police finally trying to do something,
we want to waste more resources so we can all cry and whine in public.

Stupid, stupid leftists.

Take it to where your weeping belongs, in the church.

Sounds about right.

Ah change of heart. Now the march is OK. Sounds about right, pardon the pun.

$1:
A Brussels square serving as a memorial site for victims of Tuesday's bombing attacks turned tense on Sunday when protesters wearing black arrived, shouting slogans and carrying a banner with an expletive against ISIS.

CBC's Thomas Daigle, reporting from Brussels, said the square was full of people mourning and peacefully paying respects to the victims of the explosions at the city's airport and a train station.

A march for solidarity had originally been planned for Sunday, but organizers agreed to postpone it after the Belgian government appealed to people not to attend, saying police resources were too stretched.

So, those evil lefties(?) cancel a march so as not to stretch police resources, but Martin foams away about it anyway. Then the righties show up wanting to cause aggro and disrupt peaceful mourners, but Martin's complaint there is about how many cops it took to clear out the righties. Typical.

Keep it classy, tightie righties.

For Martine

proposed but cancelled peace march = leftist waste of police resources.
rightie tightie aggro march = too many cops, let them march.

Since it took water cannons to disperse the righties, it seems they weren't bent on being peaceful.

Yep. If he's Muslim he must be guilty.

Innocent until proven guilty is so inconvenient. Why can't we just use our gut reaction to tell if they are guilty or not, and then just shoot them in the face?

They're all guilty anyway. Don't need no stinking due process. We have to become more like Iran or Saudi Arabia to keep ourselves safe.

$1:
A man widely reported to be the third individual seen in surveillance video with two suspected suicide bombers at the Brussels airport was released on Monday for lack of evidence.

Belgium's federal prosecutor's office said it had freed a man it had named only as Faycal C., adding it had no evidence to justify holding him. He had been charged on Saturday with "terrorist murder."

Belgian media had identified the man as Faycal Cheffou, a self-styled freelance journalist, and a source close to the investigation had said officials believed he was the so-called "man in the hat" in the footage.

Today, Belgian police issued a new appeal for information about the man in the hat.

The man is seen pushing a trolley with a suitcase through the airport. An official notice from police said they were seeking to formally identify the man, who is suspected of dumping his case, which contained a bomb, before running from the terminal.

Come no now. Even if he isn't the right man in the hat, keep him locked up. He is a man, he probably wears a hat. Because Islam.

Andy doesn't give a fuck about the innocent people who died at the hands of his Islamoshitstain friends. All Andy cares about is the group of Belgians who found their spines and who have to be suppressed with violent force by the police.

But had the same measures been used against Andy's friends he'd be outraged.

I didn't want to start a new topic on this...

Belgian Imams refuse to pray for non-Muslims killed in Brussels

Chief Imam of Great Mosque of Brussels suggests Muslims could show sympathy to non-Muslim victims, but can't pray for them.

Controversy has erupted in Belgium after it emerged that some Belgian mosques were refusing to join public prayers for non-Muslim victims of the recent terror attacks in the capital Brussels.

A report by the United Arab Emirates TV station Al-Ghad Al-Arabi explained that the Council of Belgian Imams rejected the prayer initiative, saying that praying for the souls of non-Muslims runs counter to Islamic law (Sharia).

During the report, which aired March 26 and was translated by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), Sheikh Abdelhadi Sewif, Chief Imam of the Great Mosque of Brussels, suggested Muslims might be able to still take part in shows of sympathy for non-Muslim victims, but only if they avoided using the word "prayer" and instead used terms such as "solidarity with the families of the victims."

Others, however, disagree, with Sewif's colleague Mouhamed Galaye Ndiaye taking a more conciliatory approach.

"Some say that it is prohibited to pray for the souls of non-Muslims," he acknowledged, but added: "Since this was a general event, in which Muslims as well as non-Muslims (were hurt), we address all of the victims and wish them peace, mercy and health."

The twin suicide bombing attacks at Brussels airport and a railway station in the city killed 35 people and wounded more than 300 others.

The attacks were claimed by the Islamic State terror group (ISIS).

Within their religion, they have the world of Islam and the world of war, so yes it's an us vs. them dichotomy.
