This woman is way beyond "fat", I believe the proper clinical term to describe her condition is morbidly obese.

I'm not admiring her, she is. If she wants to kill herself before she's 50, fine, whatever floats her boat. There are thousands of people who do that silently. She does it openly, and she is proud of it. So? It's her money, her life.
There are plenty of ways to make money and have children that I wouldn't do. But does that make them bad parents? Not necessarily. Does it make me a good parent? Not necessarily.

But if fat = bad mom, then childservices has A LOT of work to do.

This woman is setting one hell of a poor example for her children. Now being a poor role model isn't enough in of itself for CFS to come in and take custody of the kids, but that doesn't mean she is doing the right thing.

Just like a stripper mom (which I do not consider a good role-model) or a hooker-mom (ditto), she makes her own money. She can do whatever she wants as long as it is not against the law. And since obesity is not against the law...

And, I wanted to point out, that "being fat = is a bad role model" vs "being skinny = being a good role model" is a bs argument. There are plenty of skinny people who do f*ck all with their kids, and plenty of fat ones who do everything with them.

Oh I completely understand that it is her right to stuff herself to her hearts content. It's just a shame that her life isn't the only one she is damaging with her ill advised behaviour.

I think it is important to note that this woman isn't simply overweight (fat), she is morbidly obese. Her current weight is over double her ideal healthy weight.

She isn't morbidly obese because of any kind of medical condition, she does this to herself willingly.

This is like a five pack a day smoker bragging about how great their lifestyle is and how proud they are to reek of nicotine, have pitch yellow teeth, and to breathe through a tracheostomy.

Yes indeed she does. We are sitting back and letting her commit suicide by food. She is an adult and can make her choices but I can't wondering if there isn't some point where someone should say STOP (or do more than say), think of your kids if nothing else.

She claims she sees her Doctor often and is is good health. Good heath by who's definition? Certainly not mental. I wish for her sake and the sake of her kids to see a psychiatrist/Psychologist or a Priest before she meets a mortician.

Of course I am playing devils advocate. Of course I think this woman is a moron. BUT, I have a couple of morbidly obese friends, who are awesome parents, and just to say that "morbidly obese people have no right to raise their kids" is just going too far, imo...
