I long for the good old days when all police, of any kind, had was a pistol and a night stick. If you did not have to shoot you beat them stupid with a night stick...simple. Unlike nasty Tasers, night sticks break bones, shatter nerves and REALLY mess you up. Tasers, who needs'em, let's go back to the good'ol days and just beat the crap out of people. And think of the money you save! A good piece of hickory is ten bucks tops. Yeah, so what that to use one, you have to be stunned by one yourself like it is to use pepperspray, to heck with that. No forget all the hightech stuff and go back I say, go back to days when all you needed was a pistol and a big stick. The honor system is still in place in Calgary, no turnstiles no gates. If you board the train without a ticket you take the chance of transit cops doing an inspection. Fine is 150.00 bucks.
