Amazing it doesn't happen more often, considering the bail bondsman system in the US is franchised out to a lot of characters who are as creepy and criminal as the ones they post bonds for.

That's insane. Usually I say "trust the jury" because they saw all the evidence, but christ. She lied to the police about what happened in several ways, and that video is pretty unambiguous about what happened. She never even said "stop or I'll shoot".
I doubt he even saw the gun, but even if he had, he didn't have time to process it's presence since she shot instantly!
