Carbon tax. Worked for BC. Cap and trade can become just a boondoggle. We have people here in BC who are trying to buy up farmland to grow trees on for carbon credits. We already have plenty of forest land, some of which is NSR (not satisfactorily restocked). Plant trees there, not on the little farmland we have, and which we keep taking out to build housing on.
