They worked overtime to spin a story about a thousand Albertans at a rally concerned about the negative impacts of a carbon tax on their family budgets into a story exclusively about a “lock her up” chant.
They probably think they’ve shut up the silent majority for good by shaming them with their tsk-tsk reporting. Good luck with that line of reasoning.
The damaging effects of green energy policies are only becoming clearer and regular folks are only going to protest louder. They’ll be too busy worrying about paying their bills to even notice that the chattering classes are looking down their noses at them.
That would include people like the 37,000 Hydro One customers who, we’ve recently learned, are spending a whopping third of their incomes on energy bills alone.
