Like hell I did. I've long supported the role of government in maintaining a level playing field where everyone has an opportunity. I oppose the notion that government is supposed to seek to level outcomes in the interest of a 'fairness' that itself is the stuff of a playground argument.

Well, you're one of the few American conservatives over the last thirty-five years to depart from Saint Reagan's nonsense about "strangling the government in it's crib" or whatever the hell piece of Randroid insanity he was quoting. The rest of your fellow travellers seem hell bent on creating some kind of paradise that will surely erupt into existence one day if that nasty government would only leave all those nice honest bankers unsupervised to their own devices. :roll:
