To be serious for a moment, I was under the understanding that we haven't got a clue what was before the big bang... And that there could have been something rather than just nothing.
Well, if nothing is extracted from something, in an abstract fashion, the non-plausibility of a non gain becomes plausible. Therefore no one heard the big bang, as improbable as that may sound.
The noise from the sun is an illusion generally heard through sun glasses. If sun glasses are removed (silently) the illusion dissipates into the realm of quantum mechanics.
Therefore no claim can be made on the sun, that is of course, unless you are a Muggle.
