Family guy rules as it is warped and takes things to the extreme.
I used to think this show was too much for younger people to handle , that it was gonna lead the younger generation to ruin . Then it was pointed out to me that it was only a cartoon and that is how younger people saw it and recognized the difference between it and the way a healthy mind behaves .
So looking at it from that point of view , the Simpsons doesn't come close to matching it in halarity

Ok, that WAS kinda funny... But what about when Bart steals homers change and they have an Indiana Jones thing... Homer is the boulder rolling down the stairs after Bart LOL! That is great stuff.. The rest of the episode owned too.

Theres a reason why it was brought back after being cancelled ( Only being cancelled in the first place becasuse thats what Fox does )
I just bought Season 1-3 and can't get enough of them.

Simpsons is most likely the longest running and best cartoon sitcom\comedy EVER. But, Family Guy has the chicken. 'Nuff said.

I had to say that I support Family Guy b/c I have a few close friends that work (ex futurama animators) for it.

useless facts:
Both shows are animated by neighboring Korean companies Rough Draft (Simpsons) Fuzzy Door (Family Guy) both companies hire only canadian storyboard artists.
Simpsons initially got alot of their animation supplies from Chromacolour out of Calgary.

Personally, I think the FOX Network are b******s. I heard on TV because in the U.K, there was a program on called The 100 Greatest TV Shows and in it, they had said that Futurama was cancelled because it wasn't as good as the Simpsons. What the f*** is that all about. Family Guy (which is also a great show) isn't as good as the Simpsons either, but that is still going strong (after being cancelled a couple of times).

Last episode of FG was not funny..In order for Dad to bond with the kid they have to try and kill Mom!!

Another problem so called adult cartoon is American Dad.
Guns are ok,and its ok to kill someone.The mesg.of having a gun to protect ones home,and family is sadly lost when its ok to shoot someone for takeing away your job

I love both shows. I like Family Guy a little more though. Some of the Simpsons jokes are a little hidden and not as obvious. Family Guy always goes full out, I'll watch both shows though. Although Matt Groening made my favourite show. FUTURAMA!
