Well, dispite not being able to sleep. I guess I could share what i thought about the hellboy movie.

First of all, the beginning where hellboy was first found was pretty cool.

I don't want to give too much away for those who haven't checked out the movie. It wasn't so bad actually. I wasn't interested in seeing it in the first place but to get away from the kid, it was the best thing to do at the time.

there for sure wasn't enough different creatures for sure and there wasn't enough ass kicking either. needed a touch more of carnage, mayhaps there will be another sequel, it's quite hard to tell, who knows, the cheeziness with the "promotion" of the actual hellboy comic book in the movie kind of got me asking what the hell was that in there for...

but over all it was a good show. it had it's lovey dovey bit boyfriend/girlfriend parts in it, something maybe a few girls might need in a movie, check this one out and let the rest of us know what you think of it.

Just rented it on DVD and I enjoyed it. Not as much action as I thought there would be but that's ok. Also it coulda used more monsters. That said I agree the opening scene was great as was the scene where Hell Boy spys on Selma Blair with the 9 year old on the roof top. Also the Nazi Kurt Kroenen (the dude with the Blades) has to be one of my new favorite villians of all time. It's good to finaly see Ron Pearlman (Hell Boy) finally get a leading role, and well Selma Blair's character wasn't that great I thought John Hurt did an excellent job as the professor. Westie herd they where making a sequal for 2006.

I loved Hellboy.. saw it opening night and now own the DVD So many of the characters were unique in their own way. But I think I would have changed one thing. I wouldn't have showen Kronen's face. Remember how popular, mysterious and deadly Boba Fett was in Star Wars? I was hoping for the same thing with Kronen.. but hey.. I can't complain overall. I would point out that the only cheesie thing I found was when Hellboy crushed the beer can and you can totally tell that his right hand of doom is CGI :/

Overall I still love hellboy.. I hope they do a sequel, and a good one at that.
