Been looking forward to these temperatures for awhile, but it's still a bit of a shock to the system. Yesterday it was hot and muggy(84% humidity)and 32C. Today a cold front came through and the mercury is now 20 C, 24 hours later. The lows should be in the upper teens. Finally no more A/C at night. However, along with this cold front has come the rain Oh well, next weekend it's supposed to be sunny with temps ranging from 19 - 31C.....and then I'll be able to hit the links.

Do not complain.
Seriously.
Be happy for what you're missing in Manitoba. We got walloped in Southwest Manitoba (Turtle Mountain, Westman region) with 35 cm of snow, a blizzard basically, the power going out sparatically, road conditions are terrible. Winnipeg is much the same.
More snow expected next week.

More snow expected next week. When you live abroad as long as we do, you miss the snow. We can complain as often as we like

It's nice here right now (East Central AB) but we'll be paying for it soon enough.

Just got a phone call from a friend who is camping out at a weather obsevation post on Jade Mountain (Yushan), which is about 2 hrs NE of us and about 3000 m up. It's -4 C there. We're supposed to drop to 11 C tonight and on the north end of the island it's supposed to drop between 3 - 9 C.
