Business.. boring as hell :)

Is Mac Hall and Laurier still standing ?

Yep, they put in new elevators when I first arrived, and the school is expanding. They're building a new engineering building.

$1:
in Genova, its space.. the whole city sits in the hills, and everything piled on top
of each other.

The family mausoleums were probably also a way to show off money

Possibly, might be the hilly terrain in all of Italy. In Sicily we saw a city of mausoleums. Literally covering this hillside with beautiful little mausoleums

Siena - Piazza De Compo.............my most favorite spot in the world. [/b] [drool]

one year, I have to go down and watch the Palio.. imagine 17 horses racing
around that square....

The surprise was the piaza being shaped like a bowl, every time I have seen
it on tv it looked flat.

you should see some of the cemetaries here, that cover mountainsides. Right outside of the Taipei zoo, the hills facing it are just covered with them. I think I have a picture. I'll look and post it when I find it.

Yeah hard to believe the horses can stay on their feet! I've seen pictures of it and I think one of the recent James Bond movies has a scene shot there.
I just loved going down there in the afternoon and sitting around the square enjoying the view with a glass of wine.......or two.
I never tried pizza when I was there, but I did have the boar which the region is famous for and it was good.
