Rough political days here !! I vote in the only Quebec city riding where the Bloc took back one seat from the Tories !!

And then Parizeau’s face on the first page on the papers …Oh my ! Not again !

One thing former Parti Québécois PM’s ( Parizeau, Landry ) have in common is certainly BITTERNESS . Bitterness of realizing that their dream of breaking Canada will never materialize.

At least if these liars could tell the truth once , only once to the Quebec people, tell them what are the real stakes and the real consequences, then this separatist sh** would be buried once and for all . But , of course they will never do that.

I don’t forgive Parizeau for this one. Being drunk is not an excuse !!

Under a free Quebec you would have to explain to :

- your parents that they cannot spend the winter in Florida because the allowed period to retain medical coverage has been reduced from 180 days to 30 days.

- your kids that you can’t afford Walt disney anymore since just the plane tickets would cost 2 month salary ( if you’re lucky to have a job)

Also :

- Only 2 English TV channel will be allowed. ( watching football with subtitles .. Can you imagine that ? )

- Citizens would have an ID card numbered 1,2 or 3 .

1 for « pure laine « Québecois
2 for at least one « pure laine » parent
3 others

To be honest, that is not what I expected considering the title of the thread. But I guess it's ok considering. And that Lily must be blitzed cause that doesn't make any sense.

Perhaps, this better explains the fact that many Quebecers feel left out from the ROC, hence the reason why they vote Bloc.

Instead, some gratitude could be considered. We helped build this country after all. Although I am full aware of the picture that the media seems to portray about the constant bickering about QC, that is understandable. But often left out is that there are some proud Canadians throughout the province, that should at least be taken for consideration.

Actually if thers is gratitude to be given you can't start by thanking the Taxpayers of this country by shovelling money into the finincail black-hole that Quebec has become. You guys consistenely spend way more than you can afford and because of this you're considered a 'have-not' province.How the hell does a province with almost 8 million people in become a 'have-not' province.

Frankly most of the rest of the country is tired of the sepratist spiel,if they want to go. them let them go. But if they do they get thier fair portion of the current Canadian National Debt, the cant create whater currency they wan, but they cant us ours. The land beloning to the Federal government stays in Canada. And also if it's possible for Quebec to seperate then the Canadians within the province have the right to seperate From quebec and stay part of Canada.

The seperatists have always and still do have blinders on. Quebec has a 'entitlement' culture and if they seperated they wouldnt have other Canadians to keep paying their bills this little dream society they think about would vanish in a puff of reality.
