Caving or realizing they were acting childish, either way she's in and that's a good thing. It's still appalling that the decision was made by an unelected, unaccountable consortium of media who seem to listen to the big players about who they should and shouldn't have to debate, but at least they made the right decision at long last.

Tell me about it, last I recall Kim Campbell and Alexa McDonough had no problem when it came to being invited to the debates but I guess that fact has escaped May.

What is she going to do when not a one of her candidates is elected or if she looses against McKay? Will she also blame that on sexism while completely ignoring her own fool hearted decision to run in an unwinnable riding?

These things should be decided on some sort of minimum criteria. The Greens seem to be supported by a significant portion of the Population and cutting them out was just as much a Political game as was May playing the Sex Card.

That said, I read today that she wants to send a $25k Cheque to every Canadian as part of the War on Poverty. It's ideas like that which will undermine the Greens and keep them from being a serious contender in the future.

She really said that? That's insane. Hasn't she heard the parable of the rising tide lifting all boats? I'm sure all those prisoners and foreign Canadians will just love taht one.
Gordo did that in BC with his carbon tax and now he's so unpopular he suspended the fall sitting of parliament because he dosen't want to get lynched.

Not learning the issues, not voting or voting for a brand, then bitching about it afterward would be more Canadian. It's like Canadians expect that if they ignore politics, it will magically get better and it never will.
