The poll doesn't ask who we want to win the election, Ziggy. It asks who we think will win.
That must be your lonely vote then.

Nope, I think your gang of religious extremists and corporate thugs are going to get a minority, then self destruct when they try to force their regressive views on Canadians. :D

In all fairness ziggy, I've actually heard this issue about the Sholdice Clinic explained in depth and truth is, Jack's visit there wasn't the deal people are making it out to be.

It's a not for profit facility.

So my doctor can send me there then? Without it costing me anything?

The issue was explained in depth late last week but if memory serves me correctly, the only thing you'd pay for is the difference on the semi-private (2 beds) rooms because the clinic only has semi-private rooms available and government's only pay for 4 bed rooms.
That and phone calls.

Shouldice Clinic's Website Shouldice Clinic's Website:
HOSPITAL & SURGICAL FEES
Canadian Patients (excluding Ontario)
Portion of surgical cost covered by Provincial insurance plan
Hospital ward covered by Provincial insurance plan
Semi-private room charge is not covered by Provincial insurance plans
Ontario Patients

Surgical cost covered by OHIP
Hospital ward covered by OHIP
Semi-private room charge is not covered under OHIP

That SOB Layton, trying to live like the rich and famous, almost like when he lived in public housing when he was a Toronto tax baron.

The Shouldice Clinic thing was a bit of scandal-mongering by a group of people who have no use for the truth though, Ruserious. The whole story is just another example of Conservatives corrupting the truth. You know the type...half-bright rednecks who lack the intellectual wherewithal to do anything more than jabber like chimps about things they know nothing about.

The public housing thing is just another lie. Layton and Chow paid what they owed based on their income in a mixed housing facility. The idea was that those with more money paid more, subsidizing the cost for those who had less.

You're right, it's just scandal-mongering.. and I have no real reason to support Jack since I vote Liberal.
But I know the type Rev...I think I might have seen a couple of them hwacking their tricks aruendz here...

Everybody the Rev is going through a anger thing right now. You have to understand the socialist mindset to grasp the amount of rage.
Don’t worry Rev you’ll be back on the bottom of things come Monday and the world will continue to revolve.

Actually, I'm going through a happiness thing right now, Tallywhacker. Generally, when the Conservatives get more seats, so do the NDP. When the NDP get more seats, real issues make it onto the agenda. Then the Conservatives collapse in a fit of cannibalism (something we're about to see the Liberals do right now) and we see a shift to the left.
