I guess they need more men on that bigger field! 13.....
Heard that was and unlucky number, in human terms....

Absolutely! Rider fans are psycho! They don't think anything of curb-stomping someones head just for wearing Blue Bomber jersey. This player will be harassed big-time.

One thing that Montreal did right was turn around their lack of success in the first half.
Work hard and put yourself in the best position possible - then you will be ready to embrace any opportunity which is before you.
The first half really made it look like it was going to be another Montreal choker.

To commemorate the 97th grey cup, Pilsner is coming out with a 13 pack...
One more to help choke down the pain.

OMG!!
I am not kidding, my internet connection went out exactly as the Alouettes won the game in the final seconds. Kinda weird a bit. That's the reason for not being able to post right after the game.
That was an awesome ending, of course, being an Alouette fan and all. But this is in not in any way rubbing it in, as they say. The Riders played a very good game. I am able to recognize that the game could have gone either way. I am speechless. But I am also very happy to see my team victorious. I cheered for them all season, they really needed to win this Grey Cup game. They, The Alouettes, have been there so many times and finally winning the big game since '02. I also appreciate ALL THE CFL fans, here, that have commented on this thread throughout the season.

As a die-hard Riders fan, I was devastated. Of course, I knew the strength of the Als and even when we had a 2 TD + lead late in the game, I knew I couldnt relax because MTL is fundamentally the strongest team in the league and once they get momentum they're virtually unstoppable.
It took a while to accept this fact: The penalty and second kick didn't really matter as much as I first though. Montreal won the game in the last ten minutes by outplaying us and really should have made the field goal on the first try anyway. If it had been a 55 yarder that took two tries to make I might feel that Sask's penality cost them the game but 43 is certainly dooable, especially by Duval. In reality, Montreal won it by playing exceptionally in the last 10 miutes. Its a fluke that Duval missed the first one, even after 2 bad punts.
Grudging congrat to MTL but 2010 is the Year of the Riders!!!
A fond adieu to the CFL for 2009 with my favorite tribute:
