Some fantastic football this labour day.

Edmonton and Hamilton played really solid games but didn't get a win

It is a rough time to be a Bomber Fan. I guess we are expected to lower our expectations for the rest of the season. That doesn't sit well for me ....Bombers fans (ME) have endured years of disfunction on the offense...I have waited long enough.

52-0 is a stake in the heart...An Insult to Football fans in Winnpeg

According to TSN, the last time the Bombers got shutout was in 1967!

Still, fans shouldn't be too surprised given that they fired the coach mid-week.

Odds are, the new guy wanted to do something different and consequently, they weren't properly prepared for the game against the Riders.

The Bombers didn't just get spanked/beat/crushed, Saskatchewan rubbed their noses in their own shit. 8O

B.C. sucks !

The refs let them win, that's how they won the Grey Cup.

They and their fans are a complete joke ! The ''kittens'' belong in a pee-wee league.

Now 43-10 for BC with 0:57 left in the game...at least that's better than the 43-1 whooping you got last time you were in BC.

Darn those refs. ROTFL

27-22 Lions over the Stamps

I finally made it a game at BC Place, figured the game would be blacked out in the Lower Mainland.....WOW they did a fantastic job rebuilding the place. Great game but it seemed they played most of the game at the other end of the field.

I'm an NFL fan, but the enthusiasm here may just get me into watching a few CFL games again!

Over the years I've seen the Eskimos, the Stampeders and the Argonauts play in their home stadiums. There's nothing you can't like about a live CFL game.

Just as an aside, my son, who teaches high school and is a die-hard NFL fan, this past year hosted Anthony Calvillo for a visit to his school and a couple of other local high schools. He said Calvillo was an interesting guy and a real gentleman.

Yep, tough to beat a live game H. Glad you enjoyed it.

Rosie and I went to one of the Lions games at Commonwealth last year (or Eski's games depending on which one of us you talk to... ) and it was great. There is something about an open air stadium that makes it pretty awesome to watch a game, in July I might add. If we plan it right for next year....might just catch a game in Regina.... in July.....

Yeah Q it was a great experience and I did have a great time, but honestly not worth the cost, I wasn't in the CHEAP seats and the night still cost over $100, the GOOD seats would have damn near doubled that! Along with a very limited selection of food and drink, the seating is all size small.....no comments about a fat ass here.....The only BAD part was riding public transit, Skytrain and bus, missed the bus by 2 minutes then had an hour's wait for the next one...lesson learned...... Fact is BC Place is the only stadium in Canada right now where I would want to watch a game in November, otherwise..... Just a few shots of BC place stadium before and during the Lions vs Calgary game Saturday evening, the screen is the 2nd biggest in North America, all things considered the place was quite impressive. Some of the TV time out entertainment included... :)
