Left 4 Dead 2 is a good game, I got it for christmas with a few others and have to say it's the only one I wasn't dissapointed by. I heard the name MW2 in the thread, which is another game I got for xmas. It was a major dissapointment. All the Call of Duty games are generally over-hyped than they should be. Call of Duty franchise is just there to make money any way they can. They constantly release entirely new games that look more or less like expansions of earlier ones. They do this to make more money and gamers keep getting suckered into them. Including me.
Atleast with the games, despite the MP and game-play value being the exact same as the earlier games. You can atleast expect a great single player campaign. With MW2, they had a few fun missions however it was extremly short and time wasting. Not much thought or detail went into the single player this time, which was equaled out with a very dull multi-player. Infact if you were playing MW and MW2, you wouldn't know which one you were playing if it were not for the different maps and the few different guns and perks. Infact I think they actually messed it up worse as IMO the first MW had better single player and multi-player. I highly suggest you not get the game, however I do recommend L4D 2.
