Does she get paid time off for getting the vaccine? Might want to plan the second dose to not miss work if she don't. The second dose messed me up for a couple of days, like having the flu. Yesterday was the two week mark from the second dose so I hope that I am fully vaccinated. If they come out with a six month booster or annual shot, than I will get that as well.

My job started offering a floating holiday for getting vaccinated. That is good as I had to piss away mine after getting the second dose. I hear there is talk of a federal mandate for paid time off for getting the vaccine. It would be nice if they could fast track that. The sooner we reach herd immunity the better. If it turns into an annual shot like the flu, than so be it. Surely we would build up some sort of tolerance to the vaccine over time? My girlfriend who had the covid 19 virus had no reaction to the vaccine at all.

If any good can come out of this at all it would be that the whole world can get their act together and be much better prepared for future outbreaks of whatever. Stockpile PPE. Stockpile emergency rations. Have emergency plans ready to go. Have laws on the books to prevent people from losing everything due to a shutdown. Etc., etc.

Yes. She actually works in HR for the Provincial body that looks after injured workers. Very excellent benefits package. In the before time, they hired a couple food trucks to sit outside on Friday and any employee could order anything on the menu.

A couple hours for a vaccine is nothing.

I'm just ticked that I still have to wait 5 days, but I'm older than her. She went to a pharmacy to get hers, but she doesn't care about privacy. I am going to a secret government facility local health clinic where I normally get my flu shot.

Everyone is allowed to have an opinion, but to go after kids? I might not agree with some
schools having kids wear masks outside at recess, but am I about to go up to the kids and
start yelling at them? I have opinions (that everyone here is aware of) regarding the
pandemic, but I don't attend protests and things like that.

I may spout off a little here, and even with my friends, but that's as far as my opinion
will go. I'm not about to disturb anyone or their daily life, let alone kids! People
that do this to kids have serious fucking issues!
