Do anyone play any type of hockey on here? Whether its minor hockey, or pick-up, or rec leagues, or shinny, or pro, or just pond hockey.

I play Bantam Minor Hockey. And I also referee. Well I don't referee right yet. I'm linesmen, I do the scoresheet and Timer(score clock), and two man system sometimes.

Last year I was captain of my peewee team. And well this year, I"m first year bantam. I never tried out for AAA or anything though.

I play 4-5 times a week year round. I also play in the odd tournament as well, including one in Florida every spring that has team from north America and Europe. We've won that one for years and lost last year in the finals against the US National Champions.

I play 3 times a week still and as a kid, I played both AA and AAA. A back injury knocked me out at 15. I finally got back to playing 3 years ago.

When home I play twice a week rec hockey. I last played competative hockey in a Senior League S.E. Sask.. I've slowed down considerably since then. Too many knee to knee hits and shoulder injuries have taken their toll. I still love the game though.

Every year up to and including Junior played a least one game out every year. Played Right D and Right wing ( left handed shot.

Played Up to Junior A ( Played a bit more of Junior B) tried out Major Junior never made the cut (bad camps bad memories -I was 14/15)

Have never lost to an American team on Canadian soil..(playing and coaching 30-0 (1985- now)) Took a few years off in there too..LOL

Played Senior Mens Hockey. Have international caps..(LOL) Been to international senior men tournaments representing Canada.. worn the Hockey Canada Maple Leaf Proudly in Europe and the US.
.
Invited to two evaluation camps.. (when I was 17) Minnesota (North Star were still around) and Detroit. It was fun love detroit always have respect for them.. as I was treated well. LOL

Had offers to play in Europe, never went...a lot of my friends did, I didn't except for tourneys.

Played, then coached University Men's hockey
I have a BHK.. bachelor or Human Kinetics degree Kinesiology - Coaching and Sport Science.

Finally hung up the pads for good last year.. Just turned 40.

Now I coach Elite High level women's hockey, trying to develop them for the development models towards Team Canada, TC U-22 and University NCAA and CIS.

Lets see.. oh and I love the game of hockey ( don't like some teams).. cause it's been my life...Love talking hockey....

I played a junior rec league when I was a kid for a few years. Also played on the pond with friends for most of my childhood.

Now it's just pond hockey every once in a while during the winter. Usually at least once a week.

There's a few rec leagues around here that I was thinking of joining. Always wanted to, but I never signed up. Maybe this winter I should do it...I do miss it.

I used to play it few years ago, but my knee got severely injured in a car accident and I had to stop. Makes me really sad because I loved playing it. Oh well.

I played it but there was no juniors for girls were I live so I couldn't continue in a league.

I've played Ringette for a few years before transferring to hockey in which I played center a year or two, than switching over to goaltending for the rest of my career.
