donkey233b donkey233b:
Anyone know the phone number for the Italian team?

Maybe we can send them some of our guys who never showed up, and pull a quick trade. Seems like they came to play hockey.

As it stands now, they might have to do a drug test on the ENTIRE CANADIAN TEAM, and check for an overdose of either SINUTAB OR NIQUIL. In the least, check Pat Quinn.

Poor Gre(a)tzky, with the weight of the nation on his back,,,, he has to watch these guys try to show up.

SADSADSADSADSAD.

Do you realize you're in the Women's hockey thread?

Congrats USA! Bronze Metal

USA 4, Finland 0

Interesting... I get a Canadian channel.. listed as CBUT on my channel guide. Well, MSNBC was carrying this morning's USA - Finland hockey game, but CBUT was showing bobsleding and ski jump. Why, would the Canadian channel pass on a hockey game?

WDHIII WDHIII:

American rips Canada for lopsided wins
Canadian Press

''I'm upset that Canada has been running up the score, especially against the host nation,'' Ruggiero was quoted Monday on SI.com, Sports illustrated's website. ''There was no need for that. They're trying to pad their stats . . . Canada is running up the score for whatever reasons - personal, short-term.''

While Canada has outscored its opponents 28-0, the Americans have been only slightly less prolific, winning 6-0 and 5-0 against better opponents - Switzerland and Germany.

Canada and the United States have dominated international play since it began in 1990, winning every championship and gold medal awarded.

''That's the price we have to pay as a new sport.''

Sounds like some big @ss, low goal production WHININ' to me! Goal differential means EVERYTHING at this point

Cant WAIT ta kick a little 'Merican BUTT after the cross over!

If the Canadian women didn't run up the score, I'm convinced that another team would have done the same thing.

Congrats for the USA for winning the bronze medal! R=UP

Sweden has to stay out of the penalty box and hold off Canada's 1st period blitz. If they can do this, it should be an interesting match. Canada will try to scare them right off....

Oh.

$1:
Sweden gets on the board with a power-play goal as Gunilla Andersson slaps a shot from the point off a Canadian player and past Labonte. Still, Sweden has a lot of work to do if it hopes to cut into what is now a 4-1 deficit.

Off a Canadian player, that does sound like old style pong or something... :?
